BIS Certification

BIS CERTIFICATION FOR MGM ITALY

BIS certification is mandatory in India for energy efficient motors according to the requirements of the IS 12615:2018 standard. Therefore motors to be installed in India must have this certification.

Besides our Indian branch also the main MGM factory located in Serravalle Pistoiese (ITALY) achieved the BIS certification. This certification does include both, standard three phase induction motors and brake motors.

Certified motors must have the ISI mark on the motor name plate along with the license number issued by the Indian certification Authority to the motors manufacturer.

The licence number issued in the name of MGM Serravalle Pistoiese (ITALY) is  CM/L-4100065269.
