BIS Certification for India

Since January 1, 2018 BIS certification has been mandatory in India for motors with energy efficiency according to the IS 12615 standard.

Certified motors must have the ISI marking on the nameplate

and indicate the license number issued to the manufacturing company by the Indian certification authority.

The license number issued to our Indian subsidiary is CM\L – 6700064810.
