Expanded range of registered motors for Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji

Motors intended for use in Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji must comply with the energy efficiency regulations in these countries and it is mandatory to register each type of motor with the relevant authority, providing the related technical information.

These regulations apply to single-speed motors with power ratings above 0.73 kW (up to 185 kW) and configurations of 2, 4, 6, or 8 poles, with certain exceptions (e.g., motors with S2 duty).

Currently, the minimum required efficiency class is IE2.

We have recently updated and expanded our range of registered motors. The BAX, BMX, and BAHX series motors, with frame sizes 80-160 (power ≥0.75 kW), 4 poles, and protection rating up to IP66 have been registered. Although the minimum required efficiency class is IE2, the registered motors meet the IE3 efficiency class (‘High Efficiency level’).

The registered motors, being compliant with the European regulation as well, bear the CE marking.
